Coast Homes ‘The Arden’ | Residential Display Home Campaign
Wellness and connection to nature were gentle drivers behind the design of The Arden, a Coast Homes display home tucked into the established surrounds of Shenton Park.
Working within a 410m2 infill site, the Coast Homes design team created a sophisticated urban home that could adapt to different stages of family life. For Managing Director Dean Harris, the ambition was also very human: despite the striking elevation and luxury finishes, it must feel like home.
Working closely with Jasmin Bernhagen from agency Lateral Aspect, Matt led the photography and cinematography across the three-day production, creating stills and a motion library alongside an interview and filmed walk-through with Dean.
The campaign moved between the home’s design and details, where people live within the spaces, and those quieter connections to light and nature.
What interested Matt was how light entered and moved gracefully through the building. At the centre of the downstairs living spaces, an internal courtyard allowed natural light to wash into the kitchen, dining and lounge. As the light moved gently, so did the feeling of the home.
That relationship between light, sanctuary and nature became something Matt kept returning to. It was a pleasure to play with the home’s lines and light, and the quiet moments where the outside finds its way in. It is full of beautiful transitions.
For Matt, that’s where The Arden began to reveal itself. The Arden invites you in and creates moments of calm within a sophisticated urban home.
The production moved through the home across different times of day, looking not only within the rooms themselves but out through the windows and openings, towards greenery, across the courtyard and into landscaped outdoor spaces.
Outside, the greenery gave the home another dimension. Among the clean lines and sophisticated finishes were places that felt sheltered and quiet. Space for a cup of tea, a book, or simply a moment to yourself.
A considered body of work was created to support a two-year long campaign.
This home was also selected as the MSWA Mega Home Lottery Grand Prize in May 2026… lucky winners!
With thanks for trusting us, Jasmin and Dean.
